Circo Inzir is a project by Teatro Circo, which was born from the common desire of a collective of artists of various backgrounds and origins to bring shows, parades and workshops to those areas of the world where life is complicated due to poverty, wars and exploitation.

An interdisciplinary journey between visual-art, music, circus art: a melting pot of artists converge toward the message “Walking Utopia”, the journey toward choosing one’s future. Each artist united with the others to generate richness of proposals and communicate the added value that migratory movements can bring to Europe.

A circus tent. A tightrope walker. One cable diagonally and one horizontally.

A crossing that shifts the sense of the show from inside to outside, the sky as the setting for a walk in the void. A dreamlike performance in which a man climbs a tightrope to the top of a circus tent, then walks above it – between dances and acrobatics – in a wire suspended between the tightrope walker’s feet and hanging lights.

The play of shadows and lights, of silence and live music, will take the spectator into a surreal scene that will inaugurate the kermis of performances inside the Magda clan tent. An arrival that marks the beginning of a new journey.

Actors, clowns, mimes, acrobats, tightrope walkers, circus artists, and musicians who have collaborated on numerous street theater festivals and events since 2002 are known as Voyages Extraordinaires. Everybody has a unique journey, and each one is as unique and remarkable as the tale of every single formation.
